She founded Bound for Europe because the trip you have dreamed about shouldn’t get lost in endless planning and a race to see it all. It should give you the chance to fall in love with Europe, not just prove you have been there.
I have loved travel for as long as I can remember, but Europe has a way of reaching deeper than simply seeing beautiful places.
Its quiet streets, old churches, countryside views, local markets, long meals, and layers of history have shaped the way I believe travel should feel: personal, meaningful, and never rushed just for the sake of checking boxes.
That love for Europe, and the way it has marked my own life, is what led me to create Bound for Europe. As a business owner, wife, and mom, I understand how easy it is to spend your days caring for everyone else, managing the details, and putting your own dreams somewhere on the “someday” list. I started this work because I believe travel has a way of helping us slow down, reconnect, and remember parts of ourselves that can get buried under the busyness of everyday life.
Why I only plan Europe
Because you can’t know everywhere well. I’d rather be genuinely useful about one continent than vaguely useful about all of them.
It means that when you ask whether four nights is enough in Rome, or whether that hotel is in the part of Florence you actually want to be in, or whether the connection at Milano Centrale is as tight as it looks, I have either stood there myself or I know exactly who to ask. I have not been everywhere in Europe and I will tell you when I have not, but I work with destination specialists who live in the places I send people, and between us the answer is a real one. What comes back is the sort of thing that never survives a search result: which guide is worth the money, which train is worth the extra hour, where the good afternoon is hiding.
It also means I have real relationships with hotels, guides, and local partners across Europe. Those relationships are how the small things (the right room, the table by the window, the driver who waits) end up happening, and why the answers I give you come from people who know the place rather than from a search result.
Why I host retreats for women
I host women’s-only European retreats because I know how much women carry, and I believe there is something powerful about stepping away together: sharing beautiful experiences, lingering around a table, laughing, exploring, resting, and realizing you are allowed to enjoy something deeply meaningful, too.
For me, Europe is not just a destination. It is an invitation to breathe, wonder, connect, and come home changed in the best way. My hope is that every retreat I plan helps every woman return home with the newfound belief that she is worthy of rest.

I’ve been married for more than two decades and I’m a mother of four, which is its own kind of travel training. I know what it takes to get a group of people somewhere and have it actually be a good time.
I love classical music and theater, I take espresso seriously, and my favorite evenings are the long ones around a table with family and friends, which is probably why I plan trips the way I do.
