Hosted small-group travel
Hosted Journeys.
Small-group European travel, thoughtfully planned and personally hosted.
The trip you keep meaning to take.
A few times a year, I bring a small group together somewhere in Europe for a journey I’ve planned from start to finish and personally host along the way. You can come on your own, with a friend, or with a partner, depending on the trip.
Everything is planned so you can simply enjoy the experience. Some journeys are about slowing down and stepping away from everyday demands. Others are about putting on your walking shoes and following a trail from one place to the next.
Two ways to travel
Two ways to travel. Both personally hosted.

Women’s Retreats
A meaningful break from the demands of everyday life, with time to slow down, enjoy where you are, and connect with other women. Everything is planned, nothing is compulsory, and most women come on their own.
For women traveling solo or with a friend.

Active Journeys
Multi-day, inn-to-inn walking and hiking trips where the trail leads the way. Spend your days on foot through some of Europe’s most memorable landscapes, with the route, accommodations, and details taken care of along the way.
For solo travelers, friends, and couples.
How hosted journeys work
Four things you can count on.
A group that actually feels small
Groups stay small enough to get to know the people you're traveling with and to feel like you're sharing the experience, not moving through Europe as part of a crowd.
Hosted, not herded
Kerry-Ann travels with the group, taking care of the details and keeping things running smoothly. The days have a plan, but you're never shuffled from one activity to the next. You get the ease of a hosted trip with room to experience it your way.
You'll feel part of the group
Come on your own, with a friend, or with a partner. These journeys are designed to make it easy to connect, so even if you arrive knowing no one, you'll have people to share the experience with.
Time to experience where you are
We're not interested in seeing how much of Europe we can fit into a week. On a retreat, it looks like settling into one place, wherever the destination allows it. On an Active Journey, it means experiencing a region one trail and one day at a time. Either way, there's time to notice where you are.
Women’s Retreats
A chance to put yourself on the list.
I know how easy it is to spend your days taking care of everyone else’s needs and details while the things you want to do end up on the “someday” list. I’ve done it too.
That’s why I created these retreats. Everything is planned, nothing is compulsory, and you’re welcome to come on your own. There’s time for long meals, laughter, exploring, resting, and simply enjoying being somewhere beautiful without being the one responsible for making it all happen.

Active Journeys
Some places are better experienced on foot.
These are multi-day, inn-to-inn walking and hiking journeys where the trail is the trip. You’ll spend your days moving through the landscape and your evenings settling into the next stop, with the route, accommodations, and details taken care of along the way.
You do the walking. I take care of making the journey work.

Why I host these
Because some trips are just better shared.
I know how easy it is to keep saying “someday.” Maybe you’re waiting for someone to go with you, life keeps getting in the way, or you just don’t want to plan one more thing.
That’s why I host these journeys. Whether we’re lingering over dinner or walking a trail together, there’s something special about sharing the experience with people who chose to be there too.
And I’m there with you because I want you to feel like someone has you. Someone who knows the trip, knows the group, and is paying attention to the little things so you don’t have to.
All you have to do is decide to go.
Upcoming
The next one is being planned.
Dates for the next Hosted Journey aren’t announced yet. When they are, the priority list hears first, usually a week or two before anyone else, which matters because these groups are small.
Joining costs nothing, commits you to nothing, and gets you the destination, the dates, and the price before they’re public.

Questions
What people ask before joining.
Can I come on my own?
Yes, and most people do. Coming alone is the norm on these trips, not the exception. You won't be paired with a stranger to share a room unless you specifically want to be, and you won't eat dinner alone unless that's what you feel like that evening.
How big is the group?
Small enough that everyone ends up in the same conversation at dinner. That's the actual constraint; it means a restaurant can still take us, a guide can still hear everyone, and a change of plan is still possible.
Is every day scheduled?
There's a plan for every day and no obligation to be on all of it. Some of the best afternoons on these trips are the ones where half the group goes to the thing and half the group finds a café. Both are correct.
Who typically comes?
Women who want to travel somewhere beautiful without organizing it, often people who've been putting the trip off because arranging it was one more thing on a long list. Friends come together, and plenty of people come alone and leave with friends.
What's included?
It varies by retreat and is listed in full on each retreat's page: typically accommodation, most meals, guides and experiences, and in-destination transport. International airfare is not included, so you can use your own miles and preferred routing.
When will the next retreat be announced?
Dates are announced to the priority list first, usually a week or two before they go public. Retreats are small, so the list is genuinely how most places get filled. Joining costs nothing and commits you to nothing.
